Versioning scheme

1.3.x

Until what's worth to be called '1.5', we will use 1.3.x.

1.5

(skip 1.4, due to -mmc fork) - next release with some improvements like adding tab support to existing themes, cleaning, perhaps merging something from -mmc (depending on your opinions)

1.x >= 1.5

The next releases will be 1.6, 1.7..., and 1.5.1 means bugfix of 1.5.

3.0

(avoiding 2.0) if we manage to have something really cool, like OpenGL. We need to skip version 2.0 to avoid confusion with sawfish 2.0 released around 2002.
