See Wmaker. This is with gnome support - to hide applets from gnome tasklist.
Installation[]
Put this in your .sawfishrc
(require 'wmaker)
Configuration[]
If you experience dockable applications still floating around on the workspace, ignoring our placement, then it might be worth trying this:
(sleep-for 2) (wmaker-refresh-dock)
